The Art of The Cookout

The Art of The Cookout is a joint partnership program between the Birmingham City Council District 4 office and the Alpha Phi & Beta Mu Nu Chapters of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. It will serve as a community celebration of fathers, mentors, and sons. Young men ranging from ages 10 – 16 will have an opportunity to pair with various community leaders to gain life lessons and to develop basic grilling skills under the supervision of grill masters.

Saturday, July 22nd at Eastlake Park from 10a – 1p.
Grill time for young men and mentors will take place from 8a – 10a.

During the program, we will recognize and award the community leaders and members for exemplary service and mentorship.
